The Legatus Iuridicus was an office of the provincial administration of the Roman Empire created to administer justice in a conventus iuridicus in the three provinces of the Roman Hispania Tarraconensis, Lusitania and Baetica, and Dalmatia.Era appointed directly by the Emperor from among the young senators and was put under the command of the Governor of the province. Its creation was performed sometime between the Empire of Augustus and Claudius, using as a precedent the existence of refractory as auxiliaries of Republican provincial governors and, also, in the Senatorial provinces of the high Imperio.Desaparecieron at the end of the 3rd century, Diocletian reforms.
