The complete phrase is " and the happy Indian ". It is a very colloquial phrase used in Colombia. It is said to denote that all that is is narrating from a person, usually a bad thing, little care and continued calm as if nothing had happened. Here there are also other variants: " and as if nothing 34 man; " and continued so rampant " or " and, as fresh as a lettuce ".
