In Greek Mythology, personification of Punishment, considered as a consequence of pride, the excessiveness of arrogance or the transgression of the limits established by the gods. Arrogance, excess, excessiveness, arrogance, transgression, exaggeration. Hibris is also used. Name of one of the asteroids ( 430 ) .
