huacho
  48

It comes from the quechua " waccha " which means poor, orphan, only. See your variant: Guacho.

Rolando Escudero Vidal

Huacho-is the name of a city located to the North of Lima. It is derived from the quechua adverb " huac-chau " that means " beyond ". This is justified if you consider that there have passed people who explored places, of Chavin de Huantar, and to see in the distance something that interested them or something that caught his attention immediately exclaimed " huac-chau! huac-chau! " Or " beyond! beyond! ". And this adverb of place, quechua, huac-chau to be repeated many times has become Huacho.
