Very fat and big person. The word as such means river horse. In Zoology a mammalian animal of great proportions, which inhabits swamps, rivers, lakes and water sources. Its scientific nompre is Hippopotamus amphibius. It is a very territorial and aggressive animal. It is found in sub-Saharan Africa and Colombia (where it was introduced and is considered a pest).
