In Colombia it is one of the many fruits that we have (more than 500 ). It is a fruit from a pasifloraceae plant. Its scientific name is Passiflora pinnatistipula of the family Passifloraceae. It also receives other names in South America: tintin in Peru , passion in Chile , purupuru in Ecuador .
