guariao . 1. m. Cuba. Large, zancuda bird of dark plumage with white spots, black feet, as the tip of the beak. Go in pairs by the marshes and shores of the lagoons, flies with legs hanging, and feeds on worms and molluscs. Its flesh is white and edible.
