Meaning of gipsoteca

Gipsoteca comes from the Greek and means place of plasters. It is the name he used to designate ancient works reproduced sets following the draining system. In the corridors of the school of Arts and design of Logroño kept the last remnants of a very important gipsoteca, part of the Museum of reproductions what occupied the left wing of the Institute Sagasta, building in which our school was installed for the first time in his day.
