Gantt is incorrectly written and should be written as "gantt chart" to be its meaning: The gantt diagram is a layout graphics which allows to represent tasks ordered in time and its dependencies. Very often used in the preparation of projects. The name is given by a famous mathematician who I think was called Enmanuelle Gantt, although I'm not sure.
