FITOGEN was created by the Universidad de Los Lagos to boost mainly for research and development in the area of biodiversity plant and associated components. FITOGEN is under the supervision of the Department of science and food technology, with the inter-departmental character. He is currently composed of researchers from the Department of science and food technology, Department of social sciences, and the Department of architecture and design.
