It is the irrational fear of vegetables. It comes from the Greek 966; 965; 964; 959; 957; ( phyton "plant" ) 966; 959; 946; 959; 962; ( fovos "fear" ) .

It is the hatred or animosity to plants. Phobia of plants. Botanophobia . The main reason is due to the innate fear that plants would consume a lot of oxygen at night, also because of possible allergies they generate or because they are hosts of some dangerous larva.
