In biology is the feature that makes a species ancestor, despite the evolutionary process of speciation, is succeeded by only one descendant species ( or is that biodiversity ) is not altered It is synonymous with anagenesis. When ancestor is extinguished the species and the descendant, it is, despite the evolution, of pseudoextincion.
