Farfadel or farfadela is the name of some pancakes of Polish cuisine, although taller than the common ones, and prepared with milk.
It can be considered an Anglicism and means goblin ( farfadet ). It is a popular mythological being of French culture especially in Loire. It's small and very naughty. Also in France is the name of a sparkling cider.
