(Read Psalm 91 )When I was a kid, we often played hide-and-seek. Sometimes children were hiding behind a wall, without suspecting that the Sun betrayed them by projecting its shadow!If we discover the shadow of a person, that person is not far. The verse of today speaks of abide under the shadow of the Almighty, to evoke the proximity so strong the believer with his God, protection and love with which Dios surrounds those who trust in him.Psalm 91 expressed the confidence that the Lord Jesus had in his father. He underwent perfectly expressions of this Psalm. Because in me has set his love, I also it will deliver ( 14 41 v.;.Imitating the Lord, believers can experience the reality of these words. They can live, during the absence of his Lord, in the shelter of the most high, i.e., to enjoy by the faith of his presence and his love.We live in the midst of dangers which often we are not aware. Maybe sometimes, we feel immersed in distress, or assaulted by multiple fears. This Psalm tells us that we must dwell in the shelter of God, live in its communion, in a relationship of trust and love with him. So we will remain under his shade, very close to it, and we say: you have been my help, and thus in the shadow of your wings I will rejoice (Psalm 63:7 ).
