It is "squeezing something in a messy way, such as squeezing or crumpling". It comes to us from the Italian struggere, which comes from the Latin ex- (verb former) torcular, is ("press, treading of grapes for wine").
In Colombia it means squeezing, compressing, squeezing, bruising. The term squeeze is also used, which means to condense several people in a reduced place in such a way that they can hardly move.
