the birds of the Stymphalia were birds have beaks, wings and claws of bronze and whose poisonous excrement ruined crops and also were carnivorous. They populated the region and the forest around Lake stymphalian birds. Eurystheus then commanded to Heracles that ended with the threat of such birds as part of the twelve labours of Heracles, that occasionally attacked cattle or the population. Heracles went to the stymphalian birds, and there met desolate because the mission was especially difficult to complete: the birds were too many for their arrows and served its legendary strength not him as nothing.
