espolín 1 . 1. m. spur fixed in the heel of the boot. 2. m. plant of the family of the grass with reeds over three decimetres, leaves similar to those of the esparto, and flowers in panicle with edges of about three decimetres, filled with long white hair, which is used in some parts to make ornaments.
