Scapular : Prayer in honor of the Virgen del Carmen .

It is a rope that is used as a necklace and carrying on the front a few cloths with sacred images. It is used by religious and very devout Catholics. It is also a piece of long cloth, part of the dress of some congregations (especially Carmelites) by way of semicapa. It is called monastic scapular.
