In statistics, is said to have endogeneity when there is a correlation between the parameter or variable and the error term. Endogeneity can arise as a result of a measurement error, AutoRegression with autocorrelation of the errors, simultaneity and omitted variables. In general terms, a link of causality between the independent and the dependent variables of a model leads to endogeneity.
