It was formerly called San Blas. It is the name of a Panamanian indigenous region of the Guna Yala or Kuna Yala ethnic group. He is also known as Dulenega, Yarsuid. It reaches the border with Colombia.
It is another name in the Guna language for the Panamanian region of Guna Yala. It consists of dule ("person") and yala ("people of the place").
