diómer 8
It is a male name. I thought it had a Greek origin around 916; 953; 959; 962; (God "Zeus for the Greeks") 956; 949; 961; 959; 962; (mere "caste, part, assignment"), so it could be interpreted as "God-signed", "of the caste of Zeus". Or perhaps it is a version of the Germanic Diomar for þeud ("people, race") mar ("illustrious"), as "of illustrious race". But it seems to me more that it may be a reduction of the name Diomedes.
