A record label, also known as record company, is a company dedicated to making recordings of music; earlier, in what could be called golden age, those recordings were made in vinyl or acetate discs and cassettes, with the evolution of technology and the emergence of the Internet, many of these companies have disappeared and that still work to make recordings on CDs and DVDs.
