Disipela is a product of the distortion, corruption or degeneration of the word dominicanismo Erysipelas which consists of a pathology skin that is characterized by inflammation and redness of legs. I understand that it is a dominicanismo, because only in the Dominican Republic and Dominicans I've heard.
