It is a bacterial intestinal disease. The intestinal presence of the bacteria of the genus Shigella and the amoeba Entamoeba histolytica is caused. There is presence of bloody diarrhea and inflammation of the intestines. The general symptoms are stomach pain, fever, and diarrhea.
