Mean devoid of something, usually used to designate a bare ground. arid, infertile, erial, pedregal, vacant lot. Geography is a very extensive, dry, sandy and sparse vegetation. Desolate, desert, bleak, lonely, empty. Prize or election in which does not determine a winner.
