Meaning of testigo by Francisco Javier Gómez Mandujano

Francisco Javier Gómez Mandujano

testigo
  49

WITNESS-is a person who testifies in favor of or against a person in a judicial proceeding. It is so called because in antiquity had to grab the testis to depose against or in favor at an event of their knowledge. Obviously at that time only men could be witnesses.
