= PARODY in contemporary use, a parody is a satirical work that imitates another work of art in order to ridicule it. Parody exists in all media, including literature, music and film. Cultural movements can be also parodiados.// in literature, a work which thoroughly imitated the style of an author to get a comic effect or ridicule.
