dober is incorrectly written, and should be written as "DOBERMAN" being its meaning: Recent canine race ( 19th century ) created in Germany by Karl Friedrich Louis DOBERMANN, to whom it owes its name. The aim is to find a guard to make it free of attacks of robbers, since it was a tax collector. Dogs diverse as the Rottweiler, the Beauceron, the Weimaraner, the Manchester Terrier and the Pinscher were used in his crossing.
