I think all contrary to the spirit's emotions are negative. The spirit are patience, tolerance, appreciation, etc. And there is more or less powerful negative emotions. Hatred, jealousy and envy are the most powerful, and therefore harmful. A person can pull all of that negative energy to another, also can direct it himself to cause their own unhappiness and suffering.
