virruna is incorrectly written, and should be written as "vicuña" being its meaning: virruna = Vicunala vicuña or vicugna is one of two wild South American camelids that live in the High Alpine areas of the Andes, the other is the guanaco. It is a relative of the llama, and is now believed to be the wild ancestor of the domesticated alpacas, which are bred for their coats. Vicuñas produce small amounts of fine wool, which is very expensive because the animal can only be stripped every three years, and has to be captured in the wild. Point together, the product of the wool of the vicuña is very soft and warm. The Inca valued highly vicuñas for their wool, and was against the law for anyone but royalty to wear vicuña garments.
