Hawker, is a peddler that informally trades with different goods; clothes, music CDs, DVD movies, vegetables, accessories for cellphones, hats, candy, cookies, among others. In Dominican Republic, this figure of hawker is present in any part of the country, in markets, in the streets, on the sidewalks; It also carries goods door to door, using a motor, a horse and even a car. Usually go on foot, and use this medium to survive, it is a person who does not have a fixed job and looking for a way to support the family in a decent way. In this country there is the square of the hawkers on Av. Duarte with Paris; and in that same street we found a space full of hawkers where can not move vehicles and pedestrians make it difficult. The hawkers are often persecuted by police so that they leave the streets of Santo Domingo, causing this situation, often violent scenarios. In this country a peddler sells to animals...
