Latin phrase, pronounced «cheteris paribus». Means "and else equal», which means «if other conditions remain constant". Applies when the variables of a phenomenon remains unchanged only one: the relative to the influence that is objective research or a consequence. This provides simplification of analysis, as it prevents considered each variable. For example: «get to the two in the afternoon on the flight equis».
