caletre 21
In Venezuela, is very common to use (By teachers, professors and students at different levels of education ) phrase " study in the 34 caletre; to mean that the person only read and I memorized most did not understand... of which detaches the affirmation that the person who studies thus gives the following adjective "Caletrero " which as a result would mean: " person who studies through reading and that memorizes only what they read in the text, but it is not able to analyze or understand the meaning of its contents ". ( This technique is used, usually by many students only to present and an exam ).However, would be good to know the etymology of the above-mentioned phrase for the purposes of determining if intension, the use of the same, has been adjusted or if on the contrary, there was a serious mistake in its inception, because the synonyms of the word "Caletre " They seem to not fit very clearly with the meaning that has been attributed to this phrase.
