It is said of the philosophy of life based on Humor and Laughter, that being valid in themselves, they are actually two subcategories of a larger theme: Joy. Joy means being in touch with the bigger picture, being in a greater state of consciousness where humor is the vehicle that transports us from a place of narrow awareness to a place of expanded consciousness, and laughter is our reaction to that process that makes us happy.
