Cabassous tatouay : Commonly known as large cabassu, it is a species of cingulate mammal in the family chlamypharides. It lives in open and closed savannahs, humid forests, jungle and Atlantic forest. They are nocturnal, lonely and little seen. Its diet consists of insects, larvae, beetles, ants and termites and other small animals.
