In Malaya Chile it has two marked senses, the first refers to a cut of animal meat, usually from the beef from which the traditional "Arroyado de Malaya" is prepared. And the second refers to an expression present in many traditional folk songs, possibly we inherit this term from Spain, but the connotation given to it is something negative or bad, some take it as the opposite of another expression that is "benaiga".
