Funeral cones-refers to the expression : ceramic vessels, about 30 cm high, which are mostly found in the Theban tombs. They are usually closed by means of a stamp bearing the titles and the name of the deceased. The cones were originally inserted at the base of the tomb, forming horizontal rows. the term funeral cones is used within the study of ancient Egyptian and Middle East art and culture
