Meaning of andarse por las ramas by Anónimo

andarse por las ramas
  22

Going through the branches is an expression that is used when a person is talking about something, deviates from the subject and starts commenting on anything else. When someone tells us that we walk through the branches is trying to comment that we do not go straight to the point, but we add more add-ons than necessary to the topic, instead of going straight to the corresponding topic, that is, what we say has nothing to do with c on the subject.
