The BARBULES are structures that have feathers of birds. Feathers consist of a rigid shaft and hole, divided into 2 sección:1 - the Canyon which is inserted into the Piel2 - the spine that forms the axis of the pen-free part.The RACHIS branches on either side forming the BARBS. These branch forming the BARBULES. The BARBULES are ramifications of BEARDS and small hooks that allow the Barbules of a beard is traben or unite with the barbules of the adjacent beards.This structure stuck through the hooks system prevents air or water to pass through the surface of the pen.
