In Chile it is a way of calling a caterpillar or worm. In Chile, a type of accordion is also colloquially called cuncuna. In botany, it is one of the common names for a plant for medicinal uses. It is also known as congona, congonita, immortelle of Huanuco, cunguna, cannelloni, tigresillo. Its scientific name is Peperomia inaequalifolia and it belongs to the family Piperaceae.
