It is the process of managing a planting from the preparation of the ground, to obtain the fruits or harvest. To cultivate properly, several agronomic practices are required. Sustain, maintain, care for, sow, encourage. In Colombia in a colloquial way cultivate is to perform all kinds of maneuvers of conviction to finally get what you want.
