( Of the Br. crémaillère ). 1. f. metal bar with teeth on one of their songs, to engage with a pinion and convert a movement move in straight line or vice versa. 2. f. closure which applies to a longitudinal opening in clothing, handbags and similar things. It consists of two strips of cloth garnished on its shores of tiny teeth usually metal or plastic that is block or destraban each other to make an opening or closing by means of a metallic cursor movement.
