In Colombia it is the name of a river of the Eastern Plains, in the Department of Arauca and the name of a municipality of the Department of Arauca, also known as Cravo Norte or San José de Carvo Norte. Name of an indigenous territory between the Cravo and Casanare rivers in the Department of Arauca in Colombia. In the Casanare Department there is a river called Cravo Sur and passes through Yopal.
