Description, since ancient times, the myths have been stories composed of symbolic actions which were transmitted for generations to provide answers on the origin of the universe and of man, relating them with gods and messengers who acted on behalf of these.Myths offered to different cultures an integrator of the world vision, facilitating its perception of phenomena that seemed to him strange to a collective belief that gave rise to those who accompanied them and provided the psychological security for the construction of an identity to the community life.In the myths, some researchers have pointed out that the gods tend to represent the elementary forces of nature, that they can perceive, from which are derived the natural phenomena that influenced their lives. However, this simplistic assumption and ethnocentric has been being gradually overcome to give account of the myth as a special symbolic space from which human beings can be attributed meanings ( conscious and unconscious ) deities, heroes and mythical actions closely with the psychic, intersubjective, social and cultural life. This means that a certain myth can be related with internal maturity process of a particular person, but can also serve to generate social cohesion in a community, or to legitimize certain structures of power; There is no clear explanation.Etymology of the word 'myth' [edit · edit code] the word "myth" derives from the Greek mythos, which means " word " or " 34 history;. A myth will have a different meaning for the believer, the anthropologist and philologist. That is precisely one of the functions of the myth: consecrate the ambiguity and contradiction. A myth does not have to send a unique message, clear and coherent.Mythology is not only an alternative explanation to the world who uses the metaphor as a creative tool. Then, the stories fit and are transformed according to who has them and the context in which they are transmitted. Myths are not dogmatic and immutable, they are fluid and interpretable.Cosmogoniascosmogonias griegasLas Greek cosmogony narrates the origin of the world as part of the chaos, so in an act of divine creation order is imposed. This action will mark the beginning of being and good for Greek thought, in where the self cannot be reported because evil is coming to the lack of limit. View collecting by the philosopher Hesiod in his Theogony and Timothy in his story of the Platonic demiurge. Note that in the Greek cosmogony order is is imposing a violently, by the struggle between the gods, while in the Judeo-Christian cosmogony order emerges by the power of the word of Judeo-Christian Dios.cosmogonia [edit · edit code] in the Judeo-Christian cosmogony, the origin of the world is present in Genesis ( the first book of the Bible )that says how the Dios Yahvé began to create the world 'in the beginning'. In the original text does not appear explicitly mention a process of creation based on nothing. The creation is a process which takes place for separation: the land of heaven, the land of waters, the light from the darkness. I.e., is by separation of components on the basis of the primeval chaos.Only occasionally has pointed out that the creation yahvista is articulated around the separation of categories, the idea of evil will be consequently associated with that cross, with what breaks or is opposed to the limit of such categories. I.e. once more evil be associated with a lack of form, with disappearance of the limit. Evil from this optical effect on the unity of the cosmos. So in general, cosmological narratives not only represent a configuration of the universe, from the point of view of studying what is as it is and exists as substance of phenomena ( 41 ontological vision; but them also derive certain ethical requirements for preservation in the same unit.Scientific thought and the contemporary cosmology [edit · edit code] main articles: origin of the universe, origin of life and the origin of man.Scientific theories currently give the popular imaginary elements for the description of the origin of the universe and what's in it; origins that were previously explained only through the present in different religions cosmogony. Thus, currently the science described the evolution of the universe, particularly through the theory of the Big Bang; and the origin and evolution of life, through the theory of the modern evolutionary synthesis. The thinker Teilhard de Chardin proposes a reconciliation between the scientific point of view and that of the Christian religion, interpreting the genesis as an organized transformation of matter over time, from simple levels as the atoms up to more complex levels, such as the human species. However, it does not consider man as the culmination of evolution, but as an intermediate step towards what he calls the Omega point of final unity with God preexistente.1 Although the ideas of Teilhard de Chardin were initially rejected by the Catholic doctrine, Pope Benedicto XVI has admitted that the French Jesuit was a great visionary here 2Dentro in the field of natural sciencesRichard Dawkins ( 1941 do ) in his text the selfish gene ( 1976 ) narrates the scientific description of the origin of life as the moment in which it appears on Earth a molecule, formed accidentally, which had the property of creating copies of itself ( a protobiont ).? Then, from the universal common ancestor, Dawkins will explain the development of life ( 41 biological evolution; describing the various ramifications in species in what he called 'errors in replication'. Beyond the evolutionary claims of dawkinsiano discourse, the idea of a molecule that is formed by accident in a vague point and arising from it the vital chain, has many resonances with the demiurgic myth. The demiurge gathers the dispersed material in molecular form, where all the life forms on the face of the Earth, originate, but the demiurge is not subject to his own creation, which is what says Dawkins, that not everything is determined by our genes.
