correct 1 irregular participle "correct", used only as adjective (the regular to is "corrected"). adj. Made according to the regulations or in accordance with the model that is as perfect: "a correct picture. Correct language. Correct factions". It means sometimes the lack of other qualities, such as beauty, grace and inspiration. Academic, correcho, very correct, impeccable, flawless, irreproachable, profiling, pure. Incorrect. Perfect. Polished. 2 applies to a person who behaves according to the rules of courtesy, and your behaviour, words or acts: "was with us right, but cold". Attentive, courteous and polite. 3. applied especially to the way Act persons, scrupulous or delicate. Stuck exactly to the moral standards of fairness, truthfulness, honesty, etc. : "Has not been a proper proceeding blaming his mate". Well done. 4. applied to suit someone, particularly that of men, of person not dedicated to body work and care. Politically correct. Applies to the attitude or language that are trying to eliminate all that which goes against commonly accepted standards or which may be offensive to certain social groups. Sometimes used in a pejorative sense on the grounds that it entails some excess and falsehood.
