It is the name that gave you the indigenous Mexica in Nahuatl to natural resins of trees ( the Nahuatl term Copalli, wanting deir resin, incense ). They usually referred to the tree Bursera aloexylon or the Protium Copal, so called: Copal. The incense was used in this culture in almost all their sacred rites.
