COOXIMETRY oximetry measures the amount of oxygen in the blood indirectly, without taking a sample The normal values of oxygen in the blood are around 95 to 100%, those of oxygen saturation are around 90 or 100. Below indicates insufficient oxygen in the blood. Patients with pneumonia who have values of 93 or less should go to the emergency room.
