( Of the lat. ) colocasia, and this of the g ?(do as? to). 1. f. herb of the family of the Aráceas, originally from the India, with large leaves, Hostas and wavy form by its margin, and the flower of pink. It has the root fleshy and very pungent when it is cool, but if it is cooked lose bad taste, and is used as food, equally to the leaves.
