Croquette. Both forms, cocreta and croquettes are accepted by the Royal Academy. The croquette is a dough or frying usually containing béchamel sauce, bread crumbs, eggs and cheese. They are often also make stuffed with various ingredients, such as for example, tuna, beef or chicken. They are characterized for being crunchy.
