It is the fruit of the tree with scientific name Prunus domestica, Rosaceae family. It is said to the tree plum. The fruit has astringent properties. In Colombia also we tell plum or calentana plum to the fruit of the tree of hobo or jobo ( Spondias mombin ) of the Anacardiceae family.
